The COVID19 pandemic currently raging around the world puts us in a new and uncertain situation. It is difficult to predict when the situation will improve and when international travel can resume, but be assured that protecting the health and safety of our participants is our highest priority.
Faced with uncertainty, we have decided to proceed normally with the review process of the submitted papers (with a ten-day delay on our original schedule) to maintain the development of the conference program. However, we have changed our fee payment policy.
Each accepted paper can be uploaded in its final version on PaperCept after a non-refundable payment of 200 USD. This fee is intended to cover the cost already incurred by the organization of the event and ensure to authors that their contribution will be included in the final program.
By May 24 —once all accepted papers are uploaded— the conference proceedings will be finalized and submitted for publication on IEEE Xplore, before the actual conference takes place. This is our commitment to the conference participants.
Depending on the course of the pandemic, we are considering two options. If the situation allows it, the conference will be held in-person next September as planned (in this case, participants would be asked to re-register) otherwise we will try our best to turn the event in a fully virtual conference.
The submission of the final version is subject to the payment of the registration fee. Both are done through the PaperCept Conference Management System.
The fees (in US Dollars) are listed in the table below.
Registration Fees | by May 24th 2020 (*) | 200 USD | Paper uploads (**) |
(*) Authors of accepted papers should register by May 24th, 2020 to have their paper published in the Proceedings.
(**) According to conference policy, each accepted paper should be covered by a regular registration of one of the paper co-authors. A single student registration does not allow to upload a paper. The corresponding registration fee must be paid within the deadline of the final submission of the accepted paper. Accepted papers which are not associated to a registration of one of the co-authors will neither be included in the conference program nor in the proceedings.
Each full registration allows to upload 2 final papers maximum. Paper uploads in addition to those included with each registration are possible at an extra cost of 170 USD per extra paper. Each extra upload has to fulfill all requirements of a regular upload.
A maximum of two (2) extra pages per paper is permitted for a charge of 120 USD per page. Papers longer than 8 pages are NOT acceptable.
