28th Mediterranean Conference
on Control and Automation (MED'2020)

16-18 September, 2020 – Saint-Raphaël, FRANCE

July 14th, 2020

Website for pre-recorded video upload is open!

MED 2020 recommended option for contributed paper presentation takes the form of a pre-recorded video, which we will make available to conference attendees. Organizing committee request authors to prepare and upload by August 20, 2020, 23:59:59 PST:

  1. A video of your presentation. This will be considered as a replacement of your attendance at the conference. Please do not try to upload powerpoint or PDF files.
  2. A release form which grants us the permission to host the presentation video on line to be accessed by virtual conference attendees, together with other requirements from the IEEE as stipulated in the release form.
Please use the following guidelines for preparing your video.
  • Duration: 12 minutes
  • File size limit: 50MB file
  • File format: .mp4
  • Minimum height: 480 pixels
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9
Please note the above specifications will be checked at the time of submission and files not meeting them will be prevented from being uploaded.

While we are unable to provide individualized technical support to help you create your video, you may find below possible approaches to prepare such compatible video from content displayed on your computer screen and voice recorded via the computer microphone.
Click here for best practices for recording your video.

Please start early: given that the resulting video files will be very large, they might need a long time to transfer, and you might not be able to upload them in time if you start late.
We hope to make MED 2020 a success despite the difficult situation we find ourselves in, and this unusual conference format. We thank you for your cooperation in this endeavor.

Paper submission/proceedings

Papers must be submitted electronically via web upload only. Full papers should be submitted in standard IEEE A4 paper and double-column format for conferences. Six pages are allowed for each paper. All papers, invited session proposals, pre-conference workshop proposals and tutorial proposals must be submitted electronically through the PaperCept Conference Management System.

Download conference templates for LaTeX / Microsoft Word formats.
Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process, and all submissions must be done through the PaperCept Conference Management System.
Test here your final PDF file for submission to MED 2020 (choose MED 2020 in the conferences list).
Authors can also use IEEE PDF eXpress to check if their final PDF file is Xplore-compliant. Papers that are not compliant will not be included in the proceedings nor published. Go to IEEE PDF eXpress Website: http://www.pdf-express.org
